The solid classic country bass lines offered by singer Carolyn Olson (whose voice is reminiscent of Patsy Cline) and singer/songwriter and keyboardist, Heather Shongo with her soulful voice and honky-tonk keys with a classical background blend with rocker Darrel Boser whose bold, smooth leads melding seamlessly into a wide range of music covering new and classic country to classic rock as well as original music.

With Heather's move to Bemidji, we are fortunate to occasionally get Joe McGown to step in to sing and play keyboard & guitar. Joe is active as a solo entertainer as well as member of a couple other Brainerd area bands. His talent puts him in high demand, and we're lucky to get him whenever he's available. Heather may still play with us when she's able to get back in the area.  

We have two excellent new band members. Our new lead & background singer/sound & lightman, Dace Juilfs, has many years experience singing in bands throughout central Minnesota. Dace keeps the audience on their toes with his quick wit and on-stage antics. (Check out the red & black feather boa and huge sunglasses.)

Drummer Pete McGown comes to us with many years of experience in various bands throughout Minnesota. He comes from a musical family and has spent years playing drums on stage with his brothers, one of whom is Joe McGown. When Pete is out of town on work, Jim Benjamin steps in and keeps us on beat with his many years of experience on drums. Jim has sung and played with local bands for years too.

All band members sing, which means a lot of harmony and a great mix of male-female voices.

Midnight Ride provides some hot country music and warm harmonies from the likes of Miranda Lambert, Waylon & Willie, Lady Antebellum, CCR, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Elvis, Sugarland, Kid Rock, The Rolling Stones and Bob Seger. This is just a sampling of the uplifting experience Midnight Ride can provide for weddings, street dances, private parties and good times.
